Digitap.AI Enteprise Solutions Private Limited ("us", "we", “Digitap”, or "our") operates https://www.digitap.ai or https://sdk.digitap.ai (jointly known as the "Service"). (together known as the "Site").

Digitap recognises the importance of maintaining your privacy. We value your privacy and appreciate your trust in us. This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information we receive from users of the Site and applies to current and former visitors to our Site. By visiting and/or using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

Information we collect

We collect information in different ways

    If you choose to link and connect your email account with Digitap, we may access the said account for purposes including collecting your bank statements for assessing your financial information and generating a credit profile so as to be able to provide curated financial or credit products that match your requirements.

    Digitap's access to the email account(s) is authorized through the email provider’s access mechanism. If you permit the Digitap website/app to download your bank statements, the Digitap website/app will securely store the financial information details for each of your bank accounts, including your sign-in user name and authorisation tokens for tracked accounts.

    You can choose to enable us to access one or more of your email accounts by explicitly consenting to each single account separately. Please note that your consent to any of the above is purely voluntary. We only access the emails once and we immediately revoke the access as soon as we have read the emails.

    We only read emails from financial service providers including banks and credit card issuers and do not open, read or access any personal e-mails. We hereby confirm that we do not access any other personal information. For the sake of clarity, Digitap employs automated processes for accessing and analysing information provided by you; where we may need to use our algorithm to access a password-protected document utilizing information provided by you.

    We collect and monitor only your financial transactions SMS about bank related transactions, the names of the transacting parties, a description of the transaction and the amount of the transaction for the purpose of expense manager. No personal SMS data is collected, read or stored.

    In addition to the information made available to us, we may seek your consent and request access to your email account. If permitted, Digitap will automatically access the contents of emails only once for the purpose of assessing your credit worthiness by accessing financial information such as bank statements, credit card statements etc., curating offers and rewards customised for you, providing insights into your financial decisions including both investment and spending, curating specific financial/investment/other products for you based on your financial transactions, investments, and past financial behaviour etc. In order to expand the scope of our App services, we may from time to time, seek additional information and financial documents such as information related to investments in equity, mutual funds and other documents. Any such collection of additional information & documents shall be subject to an explicit & purpose specific consent sought from all Users.

  3. We use information to look at site trends and customer interests

    We may use your information to make the Site and products better. We may combine information we get from you with information about you we get from third parties.

    We may use information to protect our company, our customers, or our websites.
